I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel in Hanoi and I must say, I was impressed with the level of luxury and comfort that this place provided. The rooms were modern, new and extremely clean, making me feel right at home. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to cancel my reservation on short notice when I decided to go on a boat trip. The location of the hotel was also perfect for me as it was close to the conference and exhibition centre where I was working. Not to mention, it was not far from the famous tourist area Old Quarter, allowing me to explore the city easily during my free time.
If I had to recommend this hotel to others, I would definitely say that it is worth the price. The breakfast was not included, but the quality and variety of food offered during the buffet was excellent.

I liked the room with the window, very few hotel rooms in Vietnam with windows.
Ithe room has a cigarette smell, so I had to leave the window open the whole night. The toilet has no shower curtain. The girl in the reception keep ringing us to vacate the room at 10am as she has a customer coming in early. I told her off that we are allowed to stay until 12pm but she was very persistent.. I thought it was rude for her to treat us like that.

The hotel's location is very convenient for those attending events at the nearby conference and exhibition center. It's also situated right near a tranquil lake, perfect for those looking to relax after a long day of work. the casino next door offers a fun option for entertainment outside of work hours. Guests have raved about the friendly service, excellent breakfast, and spacious rooms with comfortable beds.
Some guests have noted that some parts of the hotel are dated and could use some updates.

We was not disappointed, but definitely enjoyed it, we got a nice room with A/C and TV including breakfast. The breakfast was very good compared to what we were used to during our journey. Our highlight was the location, just a minutes to Hoan Kiem Lake , very nice staff! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
No lift, but staff helped us to carry the luggage

Stayed at a hotel in the city over the weekend, and it was a wonderful experience. the hotel room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. the complimentary breakfast buffet was diverse and tasty, offering both western and Asian options. the hotel's amenities, including a fitness center and a pool, were well-maintained and accessible.
The location of the hotel was a bit far from the city center, which required taking a taxi to most attractions. the Wi-Fi signal in the room was not strong enough, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They offer a free pick up from the train station and were waiting for us when our train arrived. They were not too pushy with their tours, which was great compared to some of the other places we have stayed in in Vietnam. The room was clean and airy, which was wonderful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had left my phone in my room after I checked out, and the maid brought it out to me while I waited for a taxi. My room was very clean and spacious. Great location, it is easy to get access to historical sites and many more within walking distance. The lobby is comfortable, and has a very clean bathroom on the same floor. I really enjoyed Hanoi Golden Plaza, and look forward to my next trip.

The staff is very very kind, friendly and helpfull. Thumbs up for them. They kind of made it a bit better for us to stay there. Breakfast is everidge.
If the quality of the rooms were as good as the staff, I could write a perfect review. Unfortunately that is not the case with Hanoi Golden Plaza Hotel. The quality of the most important thing: The beds is terrible. We traveled for 26 hours without sleep, so we were really tired, but could not sleep on matrasses that are so hard as there. The shower was cold and the locatiion very noisy. We later were moved to a more silent room. There the matrasses were as bad as the other room and the shower was cold and leaking everywhere.
